Palm Springs is a beautiful desert resort city in the Colorado Desert's Coachella Valley and is surrounded by mountains. It is a popular international tourist destination known for its palm trees, mid-century modern architecture, design elements, arts and cultural scene, recreational activities a world-renown international annual film festival, and the annual Coachella Music and Arts festival.

Palm Springs is not a high crime city compared to many US cities. With a city population of almost 50 000 and a regional Riverside County population of 2 million, it had 5 murders and 50 robberies in 2020, which is relatively low.

Palm Springs is easily accessible via air and road. It has an international airport and is only two hours away from Los Angeles by expressway. It has a well-functioning public transport system including taxis, ride-shares, shuttles and bus services.

The conference will take place in the Hilton Palm Springs Hotel. This contemporary resort is located in downtown Palm Springs at the foot of the San Jacinto Mountains. It offers beautiful views of the valley and provides a range of amenities such as a spa and outdoor pool deck to ensure a very comfortable stay.
