Hello all,

I am looking for anyone who has been involved in CPTED reviews of neighbourhoods at the concept level.

In Saskatoon, City Planning reviews all Nghd Concept plans for conformance to the City's Development Plan and other civic policies and guidelines.  As part of this review we also have been reviewing these plans using the principles of CPTED.

We have been struggling along on our own as I have been unable to find any other municipality or private company that has done a CPTED review before a nghd has been constructed.

What I would like is to find and talk to anyone who has done any work like this to see if there are any ideas, processes, or programs that could add or strengthen our reviews...and therefore end up with better and safer designs for our nghds.  We are in a growth spurt at the moment and the concept plans are coming in fast and furious.

We are also in the process of formalizing our process and adopting the concept of Safe Growth and the principles of CPTED into our Development Plan and establishing an Administrative Policy to support the process
